1. 2011 – Date: Climate Change and Bangladesh: Problems of Urban poor, BWPI, The University of Manchester, UK Project Description: ClimUrb, acronym of the project, focuses on the status of poor people in major cities of Bangladesh who forced to migrate due to disasters like Cyclone Aila and Sidr, jointly conducted by Brooks World Poverty Institute (BWPI) of Manchester University and BRAC Poverty Institute (BDI) of BRAC University.

Completed Funded Projects:
1. Co-Investigator of Climate Change Adaptation of low income people in small urban centers in coastal region: a study of Kolapara upazilla, Patuakhali, funded by Ministry of Science & Information and Communication Technology in the year 2009-10.

2. Worked as a City Coordinator in the project ‘Mapping Urban Poor Settlements and Vacant Lands’ under ‘Urban Partnership for poverty Reduction’ (UPPR) project, funded by UNDP, UKAID and LGED-Bangladesh.

3. Principal Investigator of the project ‘Nature & Extent of population displacement due to climate change: a study on Bogi village of Sarankhola upazila under Bagerhat district, Khulna’ funded by UGC (University Grants Commission), Agargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
