Short Training on
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Planning and Development Research Center (PDRC) is hereby inviting
interested candidates
to apply for the 5 day long short training on GIS to be held on 14 – 18
March 2010. The
training will cover applications of GIS in planning and development
field conducted by GIS
experts of Khulna University. The training program will be carried out
in 15 hours: 3 hours in
a day starting from 6.00 pm. Application Form can be retrieved from
www.kuurp.ac.bd or
collected for BDT 10.00 (ten taka only) in the office room of URP
Discipline, Khulna
University during office hour. Minimum Qualification for application is
a bachelor’s degree
from any discipline of any university/ equivalent reputed institution.
Successful candidate
will pay BDT 2500.00 as training fee. Number of seats is 40.
Application deadline: 1 March 2010
Notification of Successful Candidates: 7 March 2010
Admission: 8 – 11 March 2010
Class starts: 14 March 2010
